Through initiatives like Forward Fest, Collaboration Lives Here, and various startup and scale-up programs, CJ has spearheaded efforts to catalyse economic growth and technological advancement on the Sunshine Coast.

Forward Fest, in particular, stands as a testament to CJ’s vision and dedication. This transformative business festival not only fosters learning and growth but also serves as a catalyst for innovation, driving economic recovery and enhancing employment opportunities across the region. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, including startups, SMEs, universities, government agencies, and youth, CJ has built a powerful ecosystem that propels progress and positions the Sunshine Coast as a powerhouse of innovation.

CJ’s ability to forge strategic partnerships and collaborate with key stakeholders has not gone unnoticed. His efforts have been recognised by both the State Government and Sunshine Coast Council, further cementing his role as a champion of shared knowledge and collaborator and must recently nominate for 2024 Sunshine Coast Citizen of the Year award.
