Oscar Lloyd is an initiative-taking mechatronics and physics student at The University of Queensland with extensive experience in robotics and AI. He currently serves as AI & Robotics Resident at Peregian Digital Hub and Administrative Team Lead for UQ MARS Battlebots project, where he oversees 25+ students competing in RoboWars.
As the founder of ProxiTech, Oscar develops AI and robotics applications for manufacturing and service industries while offering educational services in collaboration with various organisations. His professional experience includes working as an AI Scientist at Fleet Space Technologies, researching computer vision applications in Geoscience, and as an Automation Engineer at GreaseBoss. Oscar's academic achievements include receiving the UQ Academic Excellence Scholarship and ADF Future Innovators award.
He excels in leading complex projects, implementing advanced technological solutions, and demonstrates exceptional critical thinking skills and passion for cutting-edge technology.
